Welcome to “Dating To I Do”.

Hi, I’m Mrs. I Do. I decided to start this blog because I have been there. I have been exactly where you are, at this moment. Dating around, disappointed, frustrated, lost, exhausted, etc. I know what you are feeling and it is overwhelming.

But guess what? It won’t always be that way. For over 30+ years of my life, I went about dating like everyone else. I put my heart out there, I wished for him to come and sweep me off of my feet, I put myself out there, in person, online, I thought I was doing everything the “right’ way. Until, one day, I thought…Oh, I am doing this ALL wrong. And that’s when I decided to take things into my own hands and change the way I thought about dating.

Instead of relying on my heart and fate….I came up with a game plan and used my brain. Yep. Sounds simple right? Well, kind of. Through this blog I’m going to help you with any and all dating questions you have because believe me…I’ve been through it ALL. I was the movie  27 Dresses! I have been in 16 weddings! So, I was always the bridesmaid. I will tell you dating horror stories that might make you feel better..ha! Or help you at least learn from my mistakes.  And I’ll tell you the secrets to my success because yes…after years and years of being single…I’m finally married!

It can happen and it will happen but in this day and age it is different. As women(and men) we must be smarter about the way we date. It’s too easy now just to swipe someone on Tinder and hook up….and if that’s all you want..great. But if you want to find your husband(or wife)…you’ll need to do a little more than that..

So come along. I’ll be here for you. Every week, I will answer your questions…you are not alone in this and I want to help…you will become a Mrs. some day. I can’t wait to support you and be with you on your journey!

Btw…I just looked at the date and I can’t believe it…I met my husband on May 8, 2010. I’ll save our story for another post but wow….5 years later to the day. That is something. Can’t wait to meet you all and help you find your Mr.!
